We seek to strengthen the capacity of PWUD community members and networks through empowerment to enable them amplify, influence, find strategic allies among power holders and duty-bearers, and promote collaboration within civil society to defend rights of people who use drugs in Uganda.
We work to build a harm reduction movement in Uganda built on a belief in promoting the voice and respect for the rights of people who use drugs through training, advocacy and policy work, and strategic campaigns that challenge stigma and build new narratives for people who use drugs.
Our strategies include building leadership among people who use drugs and supporting communities in reducing the negative consequences associated with drug use.
